Founded in 2022 by Coach Miguel Castillo and his wife Audrey, Star Aquatics is a locally based, family-led swim team dedicated to helping the youth of Santa Fe learn, grow, and thrive through swimming. Joining Coach Miguel on deck are two of his daughters, Coach Jenina and Coach Gabriella. We welcome our new senior advanced coach, Coach Sean. Our coaches all bring energy, encouragement, experience and a love for the sport to every practice.

Our philosophy is simple: technique first, endurance second, speed third. We believe swimmers develop best when they train with intention, heart and a healthy dose of fun. Smiles, laughter and teamwork are part of every practice because when swimmers understand and enjoy the process, they grow stronger, in skill and spirit.

Star Aquatics is a community where every swimmer is supported to reach their personal best, whether that means building confidence, developing new skills, or competing at meets.

We also believe swimming should be accessible to everyone. Through our outreach program, we make it possible for any child who wishes to swim on a team to do so.
